Charlie Veraza

Born in Mexico City but having lived in Texas, Nebraska, Colorado, and Washington D.C., Charlie has an extensive understanding of what it is like to live in the United States. His work for political campaigns, public relations firms, and a non-profit organization advocating for a higher quality of life for every child has helped hone his skills in understanding the needs of others and ensuring they are met. And while life in the United States can be rewarding in its way, Charlie sought a different way of life and moved to Guadalajara in 2024 to live as a tapatio, working as an English teacher and exploring the culture and community of Jalisco. As someone who has lived and worked in both countries, Charlie is uniquely positioned to understand why foreigners would want to seek an alternative way of life, and believes that Ribera de Chapala can offer something they would not find anywhere else.
