Bio

- REAL ESTATE DONE DIFFERENTLY -

With 15 plus years of living in Mexico, Mexican home renovation and the Lake Chapala Real Estate Market, Hal understands the needs and goals of his clients, and is fond of saying "I don't do problems.... I do solutions"

His design background perfectly suits showcasing and selling your unique home. His popular YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@HalForsyth showcases those marketing skills. He is AGENT OF THE YEAR at Lake Chapala Real Estate (the Premier Agency Lakeside), with a long list of happy selling and buying clients (as his testimonials on https://halforsyth.com  confirm)

Hal operated a successful home renovation company North of the Border. His background in corporate staging with heavy hitters like Home Depot and Kohler along with a keen design esthetic helped transform many an ugly duckling house into a stylish swan.

A Canadian by birth, Hal spent time in Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, numerous Caribbean Islands, and Italy before settling here in Mexico. “The joy in this corner of Mexico is almost palpable and unlike any place I have ever found”.

Hal and his husband Thomas divide their time between their primary residence in Ajijic and a home on the nearby Pacific Coast.

Hal’s believes, "Step one is helping you decide if Lake Chapala is your place. Then what corner of our community best suits you. Once those decisions have been made, your perfect home will call to you. My job is to help you find it and listen."

TESTIMONIAL

“After visiting the Lake Chapala area several times over the past few years I thought I had a good idea about the real estate market here. It turns out I only understood the tip of the iceberg. Hal Forsyth opened my eyes to so many aspects of purchasing a home here and helped me make the right decision.
Experience Understanding and Trust is the triple crown and Hal holds that real estate title in my opinion.” - ADAM SAGER
